Experience sharing of ICSI after 40

Hi, everyone I just join the group today. Very nice to meet you all. I am going to have my first ICSI in Dec., and the doctor told me the success rate is about 10-12% if I am carrying two embryos due to my age. (41) Also twins can have risk of early birth or miss carriage. I must say it sounds horrible and like a gamble. How does anyone cope with your experience doing the treatment after 40? Any experience sharing can be nice! Have a lovely weekend! xX

hi and welcome. We had ICSI just before my 41st birthday. Got my BFP which sadly ended in mc but that's not to say it hasn't worked for plenty of us on here. Any ques feel free to PM and good luck 🍀

it really is. It hurt and still does hurt massively after my heartbreak this year but don't regret the decision we made. Otherwise we'd wonder what if 😊
