At 7 weeks and 2 days today, it looks like we’re losing our baby. Nothing was visible on the scan and my hcg level was 60. Another blood test on Friday will confirm but what Can I expect? I’ve only bled heavily once...is there usually more? Me and my husband are completely heartbroken and don’t really know how to come back from this and carry on...any advice? Xx

I'm sorry hun your going through this. I'm currently in similar situation waiting to miscarry my bubz stopped growing at 6 weeks. What I can say is I had 3 losses before my daughter and now this is my third after her it will happen hun.

Right now take time to grieve and be good to one another.

You'll probably still have some bleeding and your period might be couple weeks late.

Big hugs hun. Here if you need to chat

I’m so sorry to read this, you will probably have heavy bleeding with possibly some clots.

Take all the time you need to grieve and just be there for each other. We’re all here if you need to talk xx

Sorry to hear this. Take some time to process the news and grieve before worrying about how to carry on x

From the reading I did when I had my first miscarriage, and from my own experience, I think I can say every miscarriage is different. If nothing was visible on the scan then hopefully there’s nothing to “pull away” and cause severe cramping. My first miscarriage I bled for a fortnight and needed “heavy” towels for days, my second miscarriage at six weeks was only one day longer than my usual period and not heavy.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Very sad news. So sorry to hear this. Did the hospital tell you what to expect? Perhaps your body has absorbed most of the pregnancy tissue. If not you may experience heavy bleeding, clots, cramps etc. On the other hand you might not have any of this but instead have a heavy period when it comes. You will survive this horrendous time. Take time to grieve and try to recover physically as well. Hard for your hubbie too. Talk plenty together, grieve together and spend time with each other. Take care. Big hugs.xo
