Positive yesterday negative today

Took two clear blue tests one in the middle of the night and one this morning. Both negative. The test I did yesterday showed a light line and I thought for one day that I was finally pregnant. Not to be this time. Thinking donor eggs now and if that doesn’t it is not meant to full stop I guess. OH is devastated as am I but actually feel more numb.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. Was the one you took yesterday that was positive a different brand? I don’t want to give you false hope if it is negative, but if you got a positive yesterday you could try a different brand? Sometimes the tests are faulty.

Thanks for your reply I think the test yesterday was maybe out of date, it’s gone out in the bin but it was one I had from last year I think.

Hi Emma, sorry you've gotten a negative today. Some tests are more sensitive than others though and it may be the clear blue isnt picking up on things....not that I want to get your hopes up nor waste your money! Have you tried a first responce early reader....your test yesterday looked so clear!?xx

I know I don’t understand it. I checked the date on the first one and it was ok 18/02. I think I will keep going with the Lubion I am on and then test again in two days. I think I’m trying to let myself down gently but at least I am then 100% sure. Thanks for your suggestion I’ll try that one next. Xx

Yes that sounds like a good plan. Get yourself a sensitive test for the next one, Clear blue tends not to be the most sensitive out there. Do your clinic offer bloods? Have you asked their advice in case they want to do bloods?xx
