People’s experiences please

I’ve just today been prescribed norethisterone and Clomifene what are people’s experiences of this? And getting pregnant? Risk of twins -partner is panicking lol!!

Hi I was prescribed both norethisterone and Clomifene for 6 cycles. Started at 50mg for two cycles then 100mg for 4 cycles. I didn't respond to first five cycles then magically responded to sixth cycle which resulted in a BFP! So it can work you just need to be patient. Assisted conception unit had just decided that I had to continue with clomifene for another six cycles upping the dose to 150mg.

Only side effect that I got was night sweats which were pretty horrible and Yes increased chance of twins but my OH thinks this would be great... think it's a 1/10 chance.

I’ve started taking the norethisterone today. 1 tablet down 2 to go! So let’s hope it brings on a period! Never thought I’d say that.

I’m the same as you, on 50mg of Clomifene, then can increase after 3 cycles if needed.

Nervous about the twins thing with Clomifene?!

Thank you, early days yet.

Nervous about twins too but been TTC for so long that I would be thrilled.

I hope all goes well. Think it can take a few cycles as apparently read somewhere that works better when it builds up in your system but don't know if it's true or not.

Well that’s make sense to have it built up in your system I suppose! Especially as currently my body is rather unused to doing the ‘normal’thing
