Morning everyone, I hope you are all well. I had my transfer on Monday ❤️ However since Monday I have felt quite ill. Extremely bloated, painful if I walk, headaches. I think I have mild OHSS but apparently there is nothing you can do to ease the pain. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? I’m supposed to be going to work today but I really don’t feel well, equally I’m worried about taking time off.

Hi Zowiey. Sorry to hear this. You need to drink at least three litres of water a day and take paracetamol for pain, unless something else has been prescribed. No ibuprofen or anti inflammatories and rest when you can. If your urine output goes down, or you become breathless, you need to see a doctor soon as. Hope you soon feel better. Diane
Hi Zowiey, I had my collection just over 2 weeks ago and felt exactly the same. I'd say this continued for a week and I could get back in to normal work trousers after 10 days. I intended on going back to work the day after my transfer but needed to take a week off. I'd need to find a comfortable position lying down and jusy stay there, it hurt too much to walk. It does get better in time in promise. Stick to paracetamol or co-codymol (although this can cause constipation) to get over this I used lactulose which helped. Hang in, give it a week and you'll feel loads better xx
I too had EC on Monday and felt terrible Mon evening and yesterday but it's starting to ease off bit I have had to rest a lot and have drank lots of water!! Feeling more like myself today!! Hope you feel better soon and please look after yourself as you are number one xx
