Im 13dp5dt today, we tested 1 day earlier than clinic recommended, clinic told me to test tomorrow (20th October) but Rich is going away on a stag weekend tomorrow morning and we felt it wouldn't be fair whatever the outcome.
I tested on the only test i had which was a cheaper test from Asda (i think) to find out it was negative, we're completely heartbroken, Rich is going to buy some clearblue tests today so we can test again tomorrow.
I honestly thought this time it was going to work, i've felt absolutely fine, had cramping at 7dp5dt and 8dp5dt pretty much all day, but no spotting nothing, so thought it could have been good news this time, no signs of AF on its way at all, the odd cramp and twinge every now and then but nothing else.
Please can someone give me some reassurance, have we tested too early, could it have implanted a lot later and is not showing up? The emotional and mental upheaval after this morning has been horrible, and the thought of going through this again is crushing us. I feel broken, and know whats to come which is the worst feeling ever.
Hun, it could be a faulty test, it could also be possible that the test you are using is not very HCG sensitive as some tests require/detect higher levels of HCG than the lower ones!!! I used 9 expensive tests in one day and all were negative and then ordered the cheapie ones off the net which arrived the next day and were 12.5 sensitive they detected my pregnancy straight away...
Everyone's body is different and everyone's HCG level rises differently.
The good thing is AF hadn't arrived and you had the twinges and cramps which are signs.... so please get your hands on the HCG sensitive tests and pee on them before coming to any conclusion and stressing yourself. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
The test was 25mui it was a cheap test, i'm holding out hope that i may have been faulty, i've got some clear blue tests now and will test again in the morning, no signs of AF still but i'm on Lubion injections x2 daily and Progynova 8mg so I think that will stunt my AF from coming for a while!
Thanks ☺️ This mornings test was a very very very faint positive, so faint we had to hold it in different positions to see it, I’m convinced I’m imagining it to be there it’s that light! Clinic have said wait it out and test again Monday and I’m also going into have bloods Monday too, I’m not getting my hopes up but hoping the line is darker Monday!
