After six years of ttc we started our IVF journey 18 months ago, two fresh cycles that resulted in chemical pregnancies, further tests, a lap in July when I was dignosed with Endometriosis and FET cycle in August which I was no expecting to start so quick. My journey like most has not been easy and full of heartache, frustration, anger, jelousy, happiness, tears I could go on.
We could not be happier with our BFP, although it's early days and we have a long way to go I feel different this time round.
I joined this network 12 months ago and didn't have the courage until recently to post anything. I'm so glad I did, you all have been an amazing support in different by ways and I think you are all wonderful whatever your story you really are! Believe in yourself!
I have seen some devastation on here lately which is why my news comes with a heavy heart. Keep believing, stay postive, your dreams will come true.
Much Love X

Congrats! My story is pretty similar to you. We are now considering the nk test. Can I ask did they provide anything? Was it a biopsy with Dr Quenby? x
I had my NK test prior to my 2nd fresh cycle, it showed elevated numbers of NK cells but I went ahead with the cycle and was on Prednisone. I knew deep down there was something not right. After years of being told I had IBS and never heard of endometriosis when I looked into it the symptoms are similar. My fertility clinic did all the tests and surgery. It wasn't Dr Quenby. X
Thanks for the quick reply. We are definitely looking into the biopsy before our next cycle. I've had 2 laps now and they've removed as much as they can at this stage. After a lot of research there is defo a connection between Endo and raised nk. Thanks wishing you all the best x
Thank you. I totally agree I read a interesting article about NK cells which said that are a indication of some kind of immflamation. It's worth having the biopsy although if you still have endo it may be still raised. I would recommend having any tests etc before another cycle. All the best and I hope you find some answers x
Hi Dream32. Well, that's fabulous news after you've been through such heartache. I hope you're booking your first scan so you can get to meet your little "bean". Wishing you well for an uneventful pregnancy. Diane
Hi Dream32. Of course you are. Only to be expected after going through so much. Just try and keep busy and the time will soon pass. Thinking of you. Diane
Congratulations! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy! I agree it is difficult when you see others with not so good news but you shouldn’t let it dampen your joy. Every positive ending is hope for others that it can happen! x
