Ladies i done my test and got a BFP!

i was soo happy but then over the last couple of days ive been worrying so much that it will end up in an ectopic pregnancy again

i dont know what to do to put my mind at ease? Please help

I think after experiencing heartache it's always going to be natural to worry. I had a MMC last year and I'm terrified when I go to my scan I'm gona be told the same thing. I think all we can do is keep positive and know we have the support of each other. Do you have a scan date? Xx

Yeah i went to the hospital last night and they've booked me in for a scan this Thursday then i have a scan booked in for the 12th with my clinic xx

Hiya Congratulations!!! I totally get your fear I had 3 ectopics natural conception prior to IVF and I was convinced that it had happened again (floated up like one of the nurses said could happen) but huni I was reassured by soo many professionals that it is rare. They offered me a scan at 5.5 weeks as said sac will be visible if in correct place we even saw a heartbeat at this scan!! Was your previous ectopic through IVF? Wishing you all the best 💕💕

Hello, sorry about your losses. Yeah thats what the nurses told me as well! i just have a weird feeling in my left side i took myself to the hospital last night and i have an earlier scan booked for for Thursday, he said he doesn't think its anything bad but ive got that feeling so its stuck in my head now No my previous ectopic was natural conception im just so worried. Did you have any funny pains in your early pregnancy?xx

Thank you x yeah i also had this and convinced myself I had shoulder pain which I had had with previous ectopics i had like pulling aching pains on left side (where I had surgery) so this maybe adhesions and obv you very aware it. I also had bad cramps up until 9 weeks but worse in first 6 again I was assured as not bleeding that all normal when is your scan booked for? Glad you went had it given you any piece of mind? Did they check HCG? Xx

Last time when i has my ectopic i was 7 weeks and didn't even know, so i didn't have a clue that anything was wrong until i passed out on the floor! I havent had any bleeding, and no shoulder pain, people have said it could be where im constipated? I have a scan booked in for this Thursday so thats would be the 5th thats at the hospital then i have another scan on the 12th and thats at my clinic, they done a pregnancy test i dont think a HCG?xx

Oh god how scary for you it really is so awful. Most definitely could be constipation I have suffered quite bad with it so far In pregnancy. If you ask GP for laxido sachets they are really good! So glad you are getting an early scan how far will you be on Thursday? Yeah they don't routinely do HCG only if do not see anything on scan I had it done on all pregnancies apart from this one due to seeing sac in right place on scan xx

Thank you i will ask im not sure how far i will be really so on the internet ivf due date calculator is says im 5 weeks 1 day? so by thursday i will be 5+3 days xx

Try not to worry! I had an ectopic 2 years ago. To put my mind at rest I took two blood tests to check my hormones doubled in 48 hours. That's a good check before your scan so you can put your mind at rest. However I paid privately and the blood tests cost £50 each so it's up to you. But it helped me relax a bit. Try not to worry and think positive 🤗

Yeah i had a ectopic in 2012 and i didnt have a clue, when i was at the hospital they done a check to see my hormone and told me i was having a miscarriage and sent me home told me to come back in 3 days to do another one which had risen, im not over keen on the hormone level i would rather see where it is than have a blood test just because of last time! only have to wait till Thursday now though! xx
