Starting Stimmulating this week

Hey ladies I will be starting my stimm injections this coming week, a bit anxious. Any advice on what to expect whilst taking Puregon 900iu injection . Any foods to avoid. Or best foods to eat.

Hi Loduss 👋🏻 I am currently on Day 5 of stims although I'm on different drugs to you. I have just been continuing with no alcohol, caffeine and avoiding processed foods as best as I can. Basically I'm avoiding everything I enjoy apart from a few sweet treats! I'm drinking loads of water and a glass of milk each day as advised. I am also having an avocado and spinach smoothie from the Zita West book in the morning (not the most appetising!) and a protein milkshake to try and up my protein intake as I'm vegetarian. I'm under no illusion that these things will be the deciding factor in the success of my treatment but as I have a low AMH I feel my body needs all the help it can get to produce some healthy eggs! Hey Lou, thank you for the advice. I better have my last glass of wine and plan my meals for the week.!

Absolutely! Enjoy a glass of wine 🍷. I'm terrible at meal planning but forced myself to do it this weekend to make this week a bit easier! Good luck with everything. Xx

I've read that drinking a litre of semi skimmed milk a day is good for the lead up to egg collection, along with pomegranate juice and eating walnuts. Also drink lots of water and have fresh pineapple ready for after embryo transfer! Good luck with your cycle. I start injections on the 10th, all being well x

Good morning ladies ,

I am due to start my treatment next month, any advise on what should I start to eat? I have already stopped drinking coffee and not drinking my wine at all but I want to be healthy when I start it !
