Hello to my fertility family

I have just recieved all my medication and the reality is kicking in. Period is due this Sunday let's see what happens I'm feeling very nervous.

I wanted to go on holiday for November the 3rd but so unsure now any advise would help.

I will be on the short protocol

Hi strong-girl, welcome to the helter skelter ride, I'm on the long protocol so have Buserelin daily up til tomorrow when the dose drops from 50iu to 20iu and then I have merional 150iu and ovaleap 300iu for the next two weeks...hopefully leading to egg collection at the end of the month. As long as you stick to the advised injection sites you will have no or very little stinging pain from injections...good luck on your journey and hope that you get the desired outcome 😊

I'm on short protocol too. Started last week. Hopefully egg collection on 27th. All happening very quick. Good luck x

How long did u inject for Shannon ? Did u take the contraceptive pill?

No I didn't take the pill. I started injecting last Tuesday.

I did the short protocol in June was stimming for 10 days. From 1st injection to embryo transfer it was 18 days xx

Iv just opened up the medication and seen the needles and then started to cry lol this journey is , there are no words but thank you to each n every one of you for your support xx

You go through every emotion possible going thru that box.

Every time I opened mine I felt sick excited nervous anxious.

It's definitely makes you a stronger person xx

Good luck! I'm currently on the pill. Due to stop taking it 6 days before my period would usually be due - why do we need to take the pill? Why have I been asked to stop it on a random date? I didn't ask these questions over the phone! I'll be on a short protagonist protocol using menopur, about 2 weeks. Starting the injections in just over a week! Good luck on your journey x

Good luck! I'm also on short protocol and period due this Sunday - snap! My first time doing IVF so I'm feeling pretty anxious too. My mind has completely been overtaken by all of this stuff. It's been really hard concentrating at work - who knows what I'll be like when actual EC approaches!

We'll get through it xx
