Double dose for boost

So I had my first monitoring scan Monday. 2nd scan due tomorrow. They doubled my dose of menopur and I continue to take Cetrotide. Today I have really bad pain in my lower abdomen left side. I can't pick anything up without it hurting and can't even fasten my own shoes. Any advice?

Sorry your struggling with pain. Make sure you drink plenty of water Hun and rest. I guess your ovary is working super hard to produce you lots of lovely folicles ready for collection. Good luck at your scan xx

Definitely drink lots of water but I'd ring your clinic if you want some re assurance. It's horrible being in pain, hope it eases soon and your scan goes well tomorrow x

Hi Shannon1400,

All the very best for your scan!! Definitely drinking water will cure you but not much, with scanning do discussion about this pain with your doctor, obviously they can guide you better than anyone else. And from now onward do a little walk, take rest it will hurt your back, still help you in gathering more strength too. It is not good to ignore any single pain at this time. Take every single advice very seriously and have juice as much as you can, it will help you get energetic, hydrated and more with proteins. XX

This is very normal, I had the same issue with my donor on the 9-12 days of her merional and cetrodite, matter of fact I had the same belly pain as I was on medication too. It's all normal, we retrieved 8 very large sized eggs today. X

Make sure you mention it to the clinic just in case of ohss, and drink loads of water xx
