So embryo on board..phew. the nurse when she came got us described our embryos as beautiful💜💜💜the whole transfer this time took longer and they really took time and care explaining everything. The nurses and consultant have been the same ones all along and I genuinely felt them wishing us well..I even got a hug from the nurse and Dr. I feel so grateful to them plus we have two maybe three in the freezer😀they will call today..can't believe it. I asked the Dr what she felt made the difference as this cycle been soooooo much better, she said dhea and possibly the meds which nhs don't use plus without slating the NHS she just said they can be so much more individualised as they have the time due to less patients..all in all I can't fault them..let's just hope I can share our good news with them soon. If you don't mind me asking how many blasts did you get with your last 2 cycles?? Makes me think I should try again with my own. But only got 1 fresh blast on my first cycle, with 1 poor quality one to freeze, and non on the 2rd and 3rd cycle. I was on short protocol for all, and private consultant said the other day if I used my own again the meds would pretty much be the same to what I'd already been given xx
I was on long protocol last two cycles l. 1st cycle no blastocyst but two transferred on day 3. Cycle 2 1made it to blastocyst no frozen. This time I responded so well. Seems as I get older I responding better to treatment. .lol. different meds and protocol this time and took micronized dhea. Still not sure if all worth it though but one blastocyst in and 3 in freezer 😂we are delighted .it is so hard to know what to do for the best..change of clinic and approach seems to have helped us xxx

I was on 6 voles on menopor (or however it's spelt) and 1 vile of certrotide, so the highest dose really. The clinic said they wouldn't really change that if I did a private round. I got 11 eggs on my first cycle, 6 on my second, and 4 on my 3rd (although would have been 8 but the 4 on my right ovary for some reason seemed to have disappeared so they flushed the follicles on my left one and got all 4) so when I look at these results I can see the decline. My recent amh was 5.9, and I'm 40 in November. Xx
My Amh is 4.6 last tested over a year ago and I am 40 in December. I did same meds as you but something called fostimon in addition. I am not saying this has all been great as obviously I don't know yet if I am pregnant xx

Hi Vic77, my husband and I are at the start of our 1st cycle of IVF, we too have had issues with the NHS so we have gone down the private route which means that the service and care and focus SO much more individualised and careful. ALL the staff have been incredible, you get the feeling of being treated with respect and all the attention needed. I wish you every good luck in the world....

All good thanks just enjoying our sunny bank holiday. Im at the early stages of potentially going ahead with ivf at a private clinic just waiting to hear back from Dr if she wants me to take dhea before I start so great to hear youve had a good responce xxx
