Menstrual cramps 6dp5dt

Bit worried tonight as have had fairly constant period type cramps and backache for the last few hours which i normally get a day or two before my period starts...I'm currently 6dp5dt so still almost a week until OFD...trying to convince myself it could be bedding in pains but wondered if anyone else has had this and still got a BFP? Just need some reassurance I guess!...x

Can't help I'm afraid as I'm only in my first (and hopefully last) ivf cycle. But I'm 3dp5dt and haven't really had anything yet I don't think? I'm not even sure? I've felt things but then think it's in my head etc so I'm keen to see what other ppl reply.

We both had really bad pre period cramps and both got out BFP ,

Congrats to you and tuggirls for your BFP's that's such great news! 👏🏼 The cramps have eased off this morning but didn't sleep very well and have a bit of a headache now as well! It's been a week since ET so 5 days until OFD not sure how I am going to be able to wait that long just want to know as the days are dragging and its driving me crazy! Haven't been to buy a test yet as know I'll be too tempted to use it! Are the clearblue digital ones the best? xx

I'm not sure that clearblue are the most sensitive, I think that's first response. People opt for clearblue because they like to see it in words I think. If you can hold out until test day then I would.... xx

Thanks tugsgirl it's so tempting to just do a sneaky test but I know if it's a BFN I will wish I hadn't even though could be too early and a false negative! I'm actually away with work for 2 days next week so will have to wait until I get back as would be wrong to test without my OH! I think he's more nervous than me! Lol xx

I wouldn't test until your OTD Of I managed I'm sure you can just don't have any test in the house apart from the one from the clinic,

after i got my BFP I got clear blue digital one x 6 haha I've been good though and I've only used one, although it's so so tempting to do another,

I found the 2ww really dragged the days went so slow but I was off work and basically just chilled out.

So maybe try fill your day out so it passing the time quicker,

Yes. First fet I had it for most of two days; 5/6. I had a bfp but it ended in a missed miscarriage. I've just done a fet and the cramps began on days 6/7 this time then died off again but were so similar one day before otd I almost drank a glass of wine with my dinner, I was so ready to drown my sorrows! I'm now 5+3 xx

Hello Tugsgirl. My daughter is 6dp5dt and has been fine but today had a tiny bit of blood when she wiped and a few cramps. She can't do her test till next Sunday but if she hadn't have had the ICSI would be due on her period tomorrow. I'm a bit worried but don't want to worry her?? !!

You know so much and understand the process - does she still have chance of bfp? Hope you don't mind me asking

Hi. I'm not an expert or anything please don't think I am, but of course I don't mind you asking. I can only ever speak from my own experiences.. I can tell you that with my first bfp I had tiny spots of blood and cramps on days 5 and 6. As long as she doesn't get full flow between now and otd she's still in with a chance.. It could possibly be spotting and cramping from implantation 🤞 It's a difficult time and all you can do is support her and listen to her, and try to take her mind off things as much as possible 😊 Xx

I had those cramps. I think day 5 post day 5 transfer and got a positive. I don't know what the cramps were maybe the embryo bedding in!! 7 weeks now so I would see the cramps as a good sign xxx

Hi, I had exactly the same as you. 7dp 5dt I had my AF feeling 100% (even came home from work crying my eyes out thinking it was all over) but I didn't start to bleed and the cramps eased. Had my BFP! Couldn't believe how similar they were to usual AF cramps. Good luck! Xx

That's so great to hear and congrats amylizzyhan! So glad I asked this as has made me feel so much better! Cramps have eased off this morning but AF would normally be due this weekend so won't be as concerned if they come back again! Good luck to you on your journey xx

Yea ditto. Not only did I get them on days 6/7 this time, albeit milder, I had them so so strong one day before otd which was the day my period was due! I cried a lot that day 😂 xx

I had cramps on day 7 and was convinced AF was coming even though I had the same on the cycle before and had a BFP so don't panic xx
