I never thought that I would ever be sat here writing my happy news.
Its been a long and painful journey and many bumps along the way. You ladies have been my absolute rock 😘 I loved reading positive stories can me hope so I hope my story will help others who are fighting this difficult journey.
It took us 5 years and 10 months of TTC to get a proper diagnosis- I have endometriosis. And believe me when I say there many times I wanted to give up.
So first month of TTC since laparoscopy and we only bloody did it!!!!!
I know it's really early days and we have far to go but for now I'm just super excited that we are having a baby 😍
Well this will be a different appointment to the one we had planned with our fertility consultant!!!!! 😁
I will still stay on and check on how everyone is doing. Its such a wonderful community of amazing people. 😘
Bless you, yes thanks, all okay so far. Dating scan in 10 days...gulp. If all goes well then, we will be announcing our news. Currently only our parents and my sister know.

I'm much like you and have stage 4 endo. Had my last lap in October and the consultant was hopeful we'd be able to conceive after that but alas, no and so we've just gone through another round of IVF. Just had my blood test but not very hopeful for the results. Maybe it'll be third time lucky though, you never know! It's taken seven years to get to this point!

I opened the one this morn and feel soo unbelievably happy for u that at last you have been given the answers and got pregnant. Congrats please look after yourself and bump rest when you need to and accept any help anyone offers. Congratulations. This happened to my friend. She had a lap for endo stage three and the second cycle afterwards fell pregnant. She's now almost 13 weeks xx
Aww that's sweet thank you we are still in shock!!!! I think we all fight a battle with infertility. Its the hardest challenge I've faced and I think the way we are all really brave the we keep fight fighting. How are things going with you? xoxo
The pain has eased and not as frequent as before still worse around AF but otherwise nothing (fingers crossed)
In terms of TTC still feel like I'm really struggling but gta keep plugging away no matter how I'm feeling, as it's not going to happen without trying. My dr has said not to continue with my fertility referral as I don't qualify so they will just refuse it anyway. So fair to say a bit disheartened atm.
Glad to see all these lovely BFPs going around for all the fab ladies who have been down a far more stressful one than myself..
That's awful how come they refused your referral? Everyone is at least entitled investigations. I would see another doctor. You need to be under a Fertility specialist. Sometimes we have fight ( our first consultant was so disinterested) it's not right but sometimes to get answers we have to do what we have to do...
Its really hard and the more it doesn't happen the worse you feel-we were convinced it would be a negative test. No one's journey is any less painful. Infertility is a cruel heartbreaking condition.
Thank you... think this is what I may do try again in a couple of months and see if another doctor will push it through. The dr said the referral will probably be refused because I'm still young (under 35) and have only been trying just over a yr instead of the recommended 2yrs they ask for.
Definitely feel pretty s**t when AF turns up but just have to somehow keep going and hoping xoxo

I'm getting there, but getting a little frustrated now as I have my moments where I just keep positive thinking it's going to happen naturally then I get reminded that it prob won't happen, I'm on metformin at the mo but the main issue is my partners side of things but what can you do, it's so bloody expensive to do ivf. Never mind.

Congratulations!!!! How did you find out you have endometriosis? Did you do a hicosy test? ❤️

No endometriosis can only be diagnosed via laparoscopy which is a surgical procedure. It won't show up on an ultrasound unless you have the endometriosis cysts ( most don't) hycosy will only detect whether the tubes are clear or blocked. Hope this helps a bit xoxo
Congratulations. The same happened to me 3 years ago, I had a lap for stage 4 and on the 4th cycle got pregnant. I now have a menace of a 2 year old 😂. Good luck and enjoy every moment x
