Hoping for 3rd time lucky

Hi all you lovely ladies. So going for 3rd attempt now and 1st private attempt at a new clinic. Feels odd now to be paying for what so many achieve for free but also feel lucky that we can afford to pay for this however not sure for how long!! So booked in for first endo scratch too in just over a week and the prostap on same day so a double whammy. Just back from an amazing holiday which we so needed and I ate and drank what we wanted so carrying some junk in my trunk for sure. Kind of given up worrying about all my weight and diet issues as to be honest I now feel this whole thing down to luck and what will be will be and a few added pounds is not going to be the reason we are not lucky. I feel my head in a good place at the moment anyway and that surely has to be the most important thing. Anyway just saying hi to you all again really and hoping for lots of bfps on here 😊🍀💜xx

Yep, they managed to inject 10 eggs, 7 of which fertilised!! Big sigh of relief! I'm in a lot of pain at the mo so just trying to drink as much water as possible to keep the OHSS at bay!! Xx

Thank you for sharing this post, I'm starting my 4th cycle next week and have the same attitude regarding the few extra pounds so it made me smile reading you put that. I think it is definitely down to luck and I hope this time is lucky for you 🤞x

Good luck with it all. We are on our third round now too. I had my transfer on Thursday so am hoping for third time lucky as well 🍀 We too are having to pay from now on as I fell pregnant naturally last January but miscarried at 12 weeks so unfortunate,y that meant we lost our funding as we should've had one frozen and another fresh cycle funded. Life is very unfair!

It's good that you feel relaxed about this round. I have been the same and I think it helps with the drug side effects etc. Good luck! xx

this journey is difficult enough without putting yourself under pressure about weight & diet. being in strong frame of mind is much more important than a couple of pounds.

Thanks Mrs. .how you doing?they recommemded fostimon on drig front and endo scratch both haven't tried before so here's hoping..I just hope this private shot feels more individualised fingers crossed x

Hope so Vic, at last you're getting a more personal drug protocol! What dose are you on? I'm good ta, been organising an DE cycle and all seems to be progressing well. We just felt now that we're paying for it that we need to give ourselves the best chance of success. It's tough as we had a good blastocyst last time and it didn't take but can't keep doing fresh rounds to just get one embryo!! Reckon we can afford a couple of go's but obviously hoping we have a bit more success with this option!!xx

It's going well thanks. We were finally allocated our social worker at the end of June so doing our assessment right now. Meetings are every fortnight so it's good. We should go to panel in December xx

Hey Vic, wishing you the very best for round 3. I'm currently in the 2WW of mine and test on Wednesay. Like you I have been a lot more relaxed when it comes to food and stress. Figured that extra burger not gonna make a difference so not been as hard on myself, wishing a BFP to us all, and one that sticks and stays cosy for 9months ! X

I'm really good, thank you lovely. I have my own third time lucky (depending on how you count it) lying on my knee at the moment. She is one month old and a total treasure. I have spent every day of he last month thanking my lucky stars and being grateful for the support that kept me going x I can only wish the same for you and the other lovely, amazing ladies going through this xx
