Hie. I have taken my first injection for icsi today. My ovarian reserve is very low so they have given me the highest dose of fsh injections. Anyone else just started this journey??

Hi A jay. My amh is very low too at 3.4 and I'm just on the two week wait of my first ivf cycle. I had the highest dose too but felt fine. I got four eggs and three fertilised. All great quality so it's quality over quantity any day. Good luck x

Hi ajay that's great to know I will be the same - high dose as just got my AMH result of 3.1. We have unexplained infertility but I feel this now may be the explanation?! Feeling positive that we don't need too many eggs for a good result! We got our next apt for cycle day 8 which the nurse said means I can get an injection on cycle day 21 but I'm confused as haven't been given any other drugs. Do you always take drugs from cycle day 1? I am worried that she's given me false hope of staring sooner than I actually will. Congrats on starting yours, let me know how it goes xx

Thanks love.. i started my injections on 4th day of my cycle and from today(9th day of my cycle) i started another injection to stop me ovulating.
