Male Infertility-considering donor

Hi,

Hoping i can get some info on this.

I am still waiting my initial meeting with the consultant but based on previous tests i am already aware this might be our only option due to issues with my OH count.

If we use a donor, how does this work, Is IUI considered as a IVF cycle therefore would this count as 1 of our tries? Not sure if this would be separate from IVF?

Thanks in advance x

Hi lauren3189. It all depends upon whether your donor sperm is to be used in an IVF cycle or straight forward donor insemination/IUI. You will have to check with either your clinic or CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) for clarification. Good luck with it all. Diane
