Periods

Hi. I had a failed icsi cycle in august. Since then I've noticed before my period arrives I do a lot of brown spotting some times up to a week before I start my period fully. Has anyone else experienced this? Before ivf i didn't have any brown spotting at all xx

Hey lovely! I haven't noticed too much change in my cycle as such but been taking DHEA which has changed things a bit all round! Hopefully some of the others can offer some words of wisdom?! Hope you're well!!xxx

Not much to report so far, turned into an emotional wreck which I didn't get last round but hoping it's all a good thing and that the drugs are working! Poor hubby!!😂xx

Sorry can't help whether it is normal or not but I slso get this- mine started 3 years ago and I'd only been TTC naturally. Hope you get answers. X

OK thank you. Its just a bit weird and seems to go on for a good while before my period starts xx

Not specifically that but I did find my periods were different and not exactly how they were pre icsi x

Update- think my previous pre period spotting was caused by my endometriosis. I had a laparoscopy which my Fertility consultant found and removed endometriosis from my phone of Douglas. I had many abnormalities with my periods- I know pre period spotting can be a sign of endometriosis.

I will let you know what happens with my cycle now the endometriosis has been treated.

It is upsetting how little information is available for women over endometriosis- and how to know what's normal and what isn't.
