I've found out that my fibroid is almost 6x5 cm and is in the posterior wall of my uterus I've scoured the Internet and I have no idea what this means ?! Is it large, will it affect my pregnancy chances ? I'm so confused and worried !

Sorry about all the questions but I can't find any answers :(
Hey hunny sorry your feeling down. I just googled for you and found this
Warm castor oil packs on the belly, or ginger compresses (soak a towel in hot ginger water) relieve pain and help shrink the fibroids. The use of progesterone to treat women with uterine fibroids is hotly debated.
I know it's not the right answer you wanted! But just to put your mind at ease and what you could do xxxx
Hey,
I had a fibroid in the exact same place which was about 3x3 (i've also had two ectopic pregnancies) and the Fibroid didn't effect me becoming pregnant.. it was more the other scar tissue from the Ectopics. You can imagine I had the same worries as you though when i found out!
Throughout the pregnancy i was monitored for both of the above reasons. The Fibroid grew a bit but there was no harm to my little girl. The DRs explained that they just monitor you more closely than a "normal" pregnancy when you have a fibroid because the fibroid "can" compete with the baby for blood. Mine did continued to grow whilst i was pregnant with no effect on my little girl.
As far as i was told at all of my appointments, they weren't a cause for concern, they are just uncomfortable for you and i didn't experience anything to contradict this.
All the best xx
