Hi everyone, this morning I've had my initial scan & bloods ready for our 4th IVF cycle..everything looked good & ready on the scan so I'm just waiting for the blood work back to confirm my hormone levels are where they should be. If they are I start stims tomorrow..I'm on a mixture of Gonal F and menopur which is new for me and a higher dose than the previous two fresh cycles which I'm a teeny bit nervous about as I was over stimulating on a lower dose on our very first cycle but the clinic are doing all they can to ensure we get more eggs this time and they're going to keep a close eye on me just in case.
Feeling the usual..nerves mixed with excitement although the excitement is definitely not what it was on previous cycles, I'm a bit jaded after so many failures but I know that's normal and today now that things are actually moving again there's more excitement than there has been since our last failed cycle! My hubby is even more positive than usual (he's definitely a glass half full, if not brimming over!!) he's convinced this is our time and I feel such a negative nelly with him sometimes as I just can't channel that much optimism 😏
Hoping for 4th time lucky and for lots of other good news on here from all you lovely ladies in the coming months. We are amazing to keep going through the lows of fertility treatment xx

Thank you Cocker_crazy, I don't know where he's getting this optimism from but I do hope he can say 'I told you so' for once! It's lovely but it also drives me mad sometimes, I'm a worse case scenario type, it's just self protection I think 😳 Xx
Bless you, I think your right about self protection... but if it's how we cope then there is nothing wrong with been glass half empty, hopefully as this round goes on you might feel a bit more positive 😊.

Your very very welcome.... we all want this to happen for you. The wife is doing well, we are taking each day as it comes and can't not wait for the next scan in late May. Seems a life time away lol.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you both. You sound exactly like me, I'm always worrying and negative. Sometimes it just takes it out if you. Nice to have a hubby with positivity to keep you going. We have had 7transfers. On our last round now, hoping to get enough eggs for more transfer attempts. Good luck xx ❤
Wishing you so much luck - I very much hope this is your time, why shouldn’t it be! My husband is also very much “it will work for us” and I also feel so negative next to him. But he is right you have to have hope xxxxx
