Wow! I'm speechless. I've done the very things she's described; shut down my Facebook page so that I didn't have to see the progression of my SIL's pregnancy , walked away when it got too much, and only yesterday told my partner that I feel like I'm failing him for not being able to carry a child. Very moving. Day 1 of fertile window today - last chance of natural conception before we start IUI next month...
I wish you the best of luck, it is a hard journey but I feel it also helps us appreciate the smaller things and shapes us into who we are x

It does, but I think it makes me feel more supported. Not just shoo'd off and labelled as over dramatic from all the uneducated people out there that have no desire to even try to understand what each and every one of us go through each and every single day. The struggle just to get out of bed sometimes. Hope your doing as well as you can be at this time Tugsgirl. Take some time out for yourselves, go and do something you've never done before. I haven't been in your situation myself, and we're different people but when there's been something bad happen in life whether it's treatment related or not I book anow experience day. Go bungee jumping or sky diving or GoApe.. or even visit a spa, and more than anything I hope you and your partner look after yourselves. Sending lovemails, best wishes and prayers xxxx
