Waiting for ovulation...

Hi ladies and gents,

I hope you're all doing ok?

I'm due to have a frozen embryo transfer this month and had a scan yesterday to check everything (follicles and lining).

They said everything is looking as expected and as soon as I have a LH surge I'll be booked in for the transfer 6 days later.

I'm so anxious, I had a failed fresh transfer in December and I haven't ovulated since - we have our fingers and toes crossed that I do this month. If we do not then it will be a stimulated cycle next month.

I'm going to the doctors this week as I'm really not feeling fit for work right now, I'm really anxious over the whole IVF experience (as you'll all understand). It's difficult to talk to people who haven't been through it and explain to them that desire and pain you have in your heart that desperately yearns for a baby that you can almost burst.

I also lost my Dad less than 18 months ago so that's a daily struggle also.

Anyway, I'm going to ask the doctor to give me a few weeks off and I'm going to try and relax and take time out for myself. Does everyone understand that?

Positive thoughts for ovulation and transfer of our snow baby.

This is so exciting but yes nerve wracking at the same time. .through this process negative and positive emotions seem to come hand in hand. In addition to the huge stress of ivf that is just awful about your dad. I can almost cope with ivf ..not sure my dh would say I cope but hey I think I do ok but if any other life events come my way that's me floored..we had various family stresses last year and I look back now and I was a mess with ivf too. I took time off last cycle and this purely as I know myself and wanted this to be my sole priority so I totally understand and if time of is what you need..take it..you are the best judge of what you need..have all my fingers and toes crossed for you ..sending love xxxx
