So...I tested Friday PM and I've tested Saturday AM. Three tests in total just to be sure. First test (cheap) from clinic had two lines but one rather faint..other two tests had two clear identical lines which means...BFP!!!Aghhhbb.....😆I really can't believe it. I really had no idea which way it would go. In hindsight I've had signs like the cramping on and off,feeling very tired,increased appetite,increased boobs size and that metallic taste in mouth but I did think it could all be the medication.
Just want to give a massive shout out to ALL the lovely ladies here who have not had the result they wanted this week. I'm thinking about you all and sending love and hugs. Be good to yourself and never give up. I really didn't think I was too go become a mum at the ripe age of 39 including grey roots and all!😣
To everyone else who's at EC or ET stage or at drug stimm phase be positive and relax. The mind is so powerful just focus on all the reasons you will be successful and don't list all the reasons it could fail.
Finally thank you so much everyone who has wished me good luck and sent me positive messages. I truly believe in karma and I think you all have contributed to my BFP♥
So what next? Just about to ring clinic to book scan in 2-3wks time. Of course I'm now a tiny bit anxious about that, but rather than be negative and thinking of potential risks like no heartbeat in worse case, I'm remaining positive even slightly apprehensive by the thought, that both blastocysts have made it...they could lead to twins...??!

Awww bless you Stawb. Hope you are OK and settled into early stage of IVF and try to minimise your stress.Kniw that was an issue for you. I'm really not a hippie-chilled out sort of girl I'm quite driven and work orientated but I've leaned through this to relax and let go and really listen to my body. I truly believe that has been the most important factor in my success story.♥xx
Thank you Buffy I am a lot calmer now actually, I think the acupuncture and hypnotherapy are starting to kick in! I am going to take a leaf out of your book and try to relax and have lots of positive thinking. Hope you've had a lovely weekend basking in the glory of the BFP! I really am sooo pleased for you xxx
Thank you!I've taking 4 tests lol. I really can't believe it but yes it's all good. My mind is spinning. Someone brought a 7 wks baby into work today and I really had to contain myself for not blurting out"I'm having one of them"!
Thank you means a lot. For what it's worth I actually enjoyed ET despite it not being straightforward as my cervix was bent so they had to use a rather large clamp to straighten it out to position the blasts correctly. And even with that we mange to succeed!I be thinking about you. Go for a nice meal or something after will you.xx

I've just turned 38 years old and I keep thinking maybe I'm just too old as this is my third trial. I was pregnant the first time and then miscarried at 7 weeks.
I'm on my 2WW and I'll have a blood test next Friday to confirm if it is BFP or BFN.
No ... I was only told that it might have been a chromosome defect and it's best to have an mc in this case but the doctors can't really know the reason.
I turned 38 in Jan too! 😁 Anther coincidence huh!? 😜

Lol 😊 I've just done my mine tonight. I researched and it said fine as long as you didn't leave it on for too long. I swear I've gone greyer whilst doing IVF too!Just another price to pay but who cares when you get the right result. I'm rooting for BFP for you xx
