Starting treatment again soon

Well just had the news start treatment on the 18th Feb, this will be our 4th cycle but first using DE. We are full and excitement and feeling positive just hoping and praying this could be our time. Anyone else doing treatment in February? xxx

We are starting our second cycle on 12th February. I feel so much more anxious for this cycle as as it is now self funded... I also liked not knowing what was coming with the first cycle.

I have everything crossed for you for this cycle. Excuse my ignorance but what does DE stand for? xx

Once you get started you will probably relax more, DE is donor eggs. We tried 3 cycles with my eggs and sadly the quality just isn't there so moved on to DE, we are also self funding and understand how hard it is xxx

We may need to look into DS in the future as the clinic said that on our last cycle the sample given for fertilisation was the worst DH had ever produced. Out of all 9 eggs retrieved (all were mature) only 3 fertilised.

Do you use the nasal spray or injection for down regulating? xx

I have always used injections previously, but this being my first DE I am using patches its all abit new this time round xx

2nd cycle this month too.. injections start 15th. bit nervous as doubling amount and trying different injection so bit nervous.

I am on my second cycle this month too and they have over doubled my injection dosage from my first cycle, even though I had 21 follicles and they collected 9 mature eggs! I am really worried about the larger dosage and how it will make me feel. Hope all goes well for you. xx

Ah fantastic news.. Not long to wait now.. Fingers and toes crossed for you.. Feeling ready for it?I am starting round 5 ivf, this is first DE for me too, all going well my Donor due for egg collection around 22nd February, so I will need to be in Greece for 5 days after... I feel ready for this part or the journey. So you going on patches, is that on 18th you start them then? I am on pill, didn't even know about patches! Wishing you all the best and lots of love xxx

Aw wow that's great good luck to you too. I am on the pill now then on 18th Feb I stop and go on patches for about 2weeks (I think) it's all very new to us this way, we are using DE here in UK so might be why it's different xx

Do you feel more relaxed? I do.. Think after all the really heavy drugs before, my body appreciates this.... I got so used to my old protocol, it's funny learning a new one. When do you think your Donor ready for you then? Best of luck xx

Yes oddly I do and because we have had a couple months off any treatment we are raring to go now. I think I stop my pill then when I come on ring the clinic and start patches, then after about 10 days the donor starts medication (I think) I am sure it will all become clear. So when are you off to Greece?? X

Yes me too... Hot a real calm at mo... Sure that will change though! Ah well you soon find out, . I'm kind of going with flow and not looking ahead and stressing. End of Feb due in Greece, all going well... Due period this week so should know more soon.
