Just started first cycle Ivf

Hi everyone,

Just after a bit of advice all welcome. So I'm on day 2 of my gonal f injection next scan on Wednesday. Any advice on what to expect thing to do or avoid welcome.

Also looking for a cycle buddy so if anyone is around the same cycle would love to chat. I'm on short protocol

Hi Amy, I started my gonalf a week ago. Had my first scan on Thursday where I found out how many follicles and how big they were (I had 7 ranging from 5.5-15). I then had to introduce the cetrotide on Friday morning so have been injecting both since. Next scan Monday. How are you finding the injections? X

Good luck for tomorrow! I'm not finding the injections to bad at the moment but due to start cetrotide Tuesday. How are you finding doing two? I've heard bad things about buserlin but haven't heard much about cetrotide so I'm hoping it won't be to bad. X

I'm actually doing 3 as I'm doing clexane too which is not nice and leaving a lot of bruising. The cetrotide isn't too bad. X

Hi I'm on day 4 of gonal f on short protocol so only a couple of days ahead I have my scan tomorrow, hope everything goes well for you. I did a long protocol cycle before and I can't believe how much quicker this one is it is great!! Jo x
