Antibiotics and frozen cycle

Hi , I have been talking bustling shots - I doing a frozen cycle- and starting today the estrogen patches . I have been having bad dental pain and might have to take antibiotics to clear the infection , does anybody know if they will interfere with the treatment ? Thank you

Hey i had the same apparently there are a couple of penicillin based ones that are OK but otherwise no. Call the clinic and they should give the names of the ok ones for you to let your dentist know💕hope it eases soon

You could tell your dentist to treat you as though you are pregnant, they should know which anti biotics are OK.

Thanks ! I called the clinic and it is fine to take them for the moment ; my embryo transfer will be in 2 weeks so it is ok for the moment

Hi Martinax. I thought that would be the case, as dentists can only prescribe basic antibiotics, unless in a dental hospital. Hope your tooth is recovering and the pain is subsiding. Your FET will be fine. Fingers crossed for success. Diane
