Endometrial thickness

So last cycle the lining was too thin. Yesterday it was 17 which my consultant seemed to think was fine. Just been reading some stuff that over 16 can be as bad as it being too thin. Then read other stuff that this thickness is a good thing for implantation.

At least my progesterone has stayed down this time and was 3 with an oestradiol of 8500 which is better than the 20,000 I had last time.

Anyone else have any experience of a lining being too thick?

Hi Mantaray75. I was always taught that you needed an endometrial lining of at least 8mm. If it gets high it can shed. We used to aim between 8 and 15mm. I'm sure your consultant will keep a close eye on yours. good luck! Diane
