Menstrual cycle affected by ivf

Hi. I had a failed icsi cycle in July this year.

since then I've had a lot of brown discharge. My first period since the cycle was a bit late and now 14 days after that I've got the brown discharge back again. It's enough to fill a sanitary pad. Anyone offer any advice?x

My cycles are always messed up for about 3 months after treatment. Hope things settle for you soon hon x

Hi katya38. Sounds like you may have a luteal phase deficiency, and your womb lining is not building up enough each month. This is quite common after a failed cycle of treatment. Have a chat with your GP, who may give you something to "kick start" you back into a normal cycle again. This should soon be sorted, so try not to worry about it too much. Good luck! Diane
