Very new here, as we had our final consultation with our fertility specialist and she confirmed our only remaining option is IVF. We've never had an explanation for infertility. I have endometriosis in my belly button which apparently doesn't affect conception at all. Just wondering if anybody is on the same boat? Also, timelines of IVF are still fuzzy. I'm reading mixed experiences.
We signed our letter for IVF on Tuesday and totally in the dark now as to when we should be expecting our pack? Is there a chance your funding will be refused eve if you meet the basic criteria?
Any help would be much appreciated 😊

Hi, it's good news you have got to this point, I had my IVF at Wigan but my actual EC and ET at Liverpool womens. I called the clinic a week after my forms were sent off to ask when I would be seen, they then told me a date when I would become top of the waiting list (mine was 10 weeks) after that you can call and get your appointment, which was around 6 weeks after for initial consult. I preferred to chase them rather than waiting!
I'm not sure about funding, it's worth a call to your doctor to check and you can also ask if your paperwork has been sent to your clinic before you call?
Hi Annie8888. As long as you meet the clinic criteria, then you should be on your way with treatment. Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer. Good luck with it all! Diane
