I'm 9wks 2 days pregnant and had my 9 wk scan yesterday and we saw our little one wave and his or her legs were kicking. 💕 Baby's heart was thumping away and we saw the amniotic sac, cord, fetal pole and yolk sac.... It was lovely to see. All is well and having now had 2 scans I've been signed over to my local hospital. (Fingers crossed everything all stays well).
I just wanted to share, as when i was having low points or losing faith in the process I loved seeing happy stories on here that gave me hope. I hope this can give some comfort to ladies on here.
This is my second round of IVF (ICSI this time) and I have PCOS and am on metformin. I was on the short protocol on Gonal F and cetrotide and had an awful EC and slight OHSS but all the pain and tears were worth it. I don't post often on here anymore but would like to offer support if I can, or share experiences so feel free to message.
The 1st cycle I was super healthy but stressed at doing everything right. The 2nd time I relaxed, had the odd glass of red wine before starting stims, had the odd treat and decided to put less pressure on. I still ate healthily and took zita west vitamins and DHA as well as folic acid.
Don't ever give up hope ladies. I know this whole process is so hard but the ladies on here are so strong and inspirational..... never give up hope.... i had moments like this often and now can't believe i have a little healthy baby growing inside me. 😊

So happy for you. My boss had the odd drink this second cycle and generally took things easier. Her scan is due this week, prob won't know anything until Sept when I return to work. I did hint to let me know if it goes pearshaped again. Going to be the longest six weeks of my life! Some of our successful ladies are now posting on the bpas site, so you might want to take a look xxx

I've been really struggling this week after our BFN last week and I turned 43 yesterday (usually a cause for celebration, this birthday was just a scary reminder of the clock running out). Congratulations what a beautiful scan picture . I have my 12 wk scan on Saturday & can't wait . The last scan was at 5.5 weeks and although I saw heartbeat , this time he or she will definitely look like a baby 😊😊 xxx
Yeah my wee peanut definitely is making me work for this sicky nearly all day everyday it's horrible but least ino it's coz there growing etc hope ur well xxxxx
