Starting with gonal+orgalutron today

Hey lovely ladys!

Just quick update after 5 days of clomid (started on 2nd day of cycle) doctor started us with gonal+orgalutron as of next day that is 8th cycle day and said 7th day need not take anything😕...That left me a little confused why we left out one day! Doc also said right now there was no effect of clomid on scanning but bloodwork is expected to reflect some developments!

Love to write in here coz the feeling is amazing that people read it and respond! Most importantly we are all together n connected to eachothers' storys😘👍

Just hope it works for all of us wishing to be parents, good luck to all of us😘

Hi Hopeful2016. Try not to worry about the “missing day – day 7”. The Clomid slowly depletes over 5-7 days after finishing, so you will have a “bit” left. Getting straight on to Gonal-F and Orgalutran is important, so there is not a “dip” in hormones. Blood work is fine to ascertain hormone levels/ovulation, no need to scan as well. Obviously, this is down to your clinic’s preference, some prefer scans, some blood testing. Fingers crossed all goes well for you and you get a positive result. Diane
