Getting to EC - a hurdle in itself.

Not posted before so thought I would tell my story. Need some reassurance from others struggling with their oestrogen levels.

I'm 40, a Brit who is living in New Zealand. Have unexplained infertility, been trying for 18 months. In NZ you wait 5 years for funding so we are paying for this cycle. Also tough trying to do this this without my friends around.

All previous tests normal, periods regular to the day, AMH level great for my age. Had fab response to clomid (apart from not getting pregnant!) - oestrogen over 2000.

Now day 8 of gonal F and oestrogen is only 155! Had dose increased from 150 to 225 yesterday. Just assumed it would be plain sailing until EC.

Anyway had this response and been successful?

Hi Mantaray75. Sorry to hear that all isn't to plan so far. However, with the increase in Gonal-F, hopefully your response will improve. Sadly, it can take a little longer on the stimulation drugs, so keeping everything crossed for you that the cycle progresses from now on. Diane
