Weak positive pregnancy test

Hi everyone. For the past 3 weeks I've had a fluttering sensation in my lower abdomen which over the weekend turned into a stabbing pain on and off. I decided to head to the docs where they did 2 pregnancy tests the first a weak positive the second a negative. I have since conducted home test (although the doc said wait 3 weeks) all have been negative. I don't know what to think. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone give any guidance?!

How many weeks are you, my friend didn't get a positive test until her 7th week. Now she's 24 weeks pregnant.

I wouldn't have a clue the last time me and my partner had intercourse was approx 4 weeks ago. I'm on the progesterone only pill. Did clear blue this morning and typical there was an error. Another 24 hours to wait... I've got a feeling there has been a mix up at hospital or it's possible chemical pregnancy I don't know what to think. I suffer with pcos so this is big deal for me. Thanks for your quick reply 😊

Could be too early to pick up. Doctor is right to say restest in a week to see. Happened to me once where I had faint line at 4 weeks so went to doctor but didn't have early morning urine for that sample and it was negative. She said to test a week later at 5 weeks and sure enough I was pregnant. My advice is to act like you're pregnant now and cut out alcohol, etc and take folic acid, just in case. I think First Response is a more sensitive test.

Thanks for your replies and advice I'm going to leave it a week and see how it goes I've got an ultrasound to check other problems on the 7th and then a referral with a gp after I'll keep you updated thank you 😊
