Egg collection earlier than expected, what do I need to bring in the day?

I'm responding a little fast to treatment so my egg collection will probably be on Tuesday instead of Thursday. Has this happened to anyone else? What do I need to bring for egg collection? Do I need a nightie etc?

I didn't take anything for mine, just changed into the hospital gown for the procedure then back into my clothes for afterwards. Slippers/flip flops might be good though. Good luck xx

I always just wore my clothes and just used the hospital gown. All 8 times! Never occurred to me to wear my jammies! Do what makes you feel comfortable!

Yes this happened to me. I responded very well to hormones and my ovaries were full to bursting! I did not take anything to wear as it is a sterile environment they made me wear a gown. They also gave me a hair net thing and plastic slip on bag/shoes for feet.

Probably take food as i didn't and wish I had because all I got was a biscuit and I was ravenous!?

Good luck :-)

Glad to hear I'm not alone. They are bigger in my right ovary than my left but this could be because I have just had surgery on my left ovary. I feel very bloated and uncomfortable so I am just ready for this egg collection!

I've another scan in the morning and will be most likely triggering tomorrow night now so I'm sure I'll find out more in the morning.

Ah good luck! It's so exciting! I was told just dressing gown and slippers. Didn't need to take food as we had to go private, not sure if its the same on NHS. Lots of love xxx
