Failed attempt what happens next

Hey ladies

Even though I have not done test, brown discharge changed to period this morning. Not due to test til 20/11 we are both devastated, however am I to still finish the gel?

Anyone know what happens next?

Hello im sorry it seems Over for you. But you need to continue the gel and still test on your original test date. I know that's awful. And very hard. But i had to. Unless clinic tells you different tommorow. Which I would phone them as soon as you can tommorow. If it has they may have a follow up appointment to discuss what to do next. Hope this helps you. Xx

Hi there! Cant believe I am in the same situation! My test day is 20/11 and I started to bleed this morning (very heavy with loads of clogs).

I decided to still carry on with gel and do the test on Thursday.

BTW I ve done tets yetserday (Saturday) and it was negative. So dont really have any hopes. Just very sad (

I really hope you are ok and you know what miracles do happen!

Lets hope next time will be lucky!

It's a bummer isn't it, I don't have any years left and although I am hoping for a miracle I am preparing myself....

Like you said miracles do happen I wish you luck and more on test day try to have a little positive thought.

I am driving myself crazy by reading about it (bleeding on 2ww) and yes I guess I still have tiny hope.

But preparing myself mentaly for1) loose weight as you need to be certain weight to be qualified for a NHSfunded IVF and I did put on a bit (a stone!.) since April 2) a 6 moths wait... 3) another round with more realistic hopes!

Hope you are holding on! We will get there! X

Just little positive true story.

My friend bless her tried for 7 years to concieve and has numerous fertility problems (her hubby has low sperm count) .

She had unsuccessful treatment (not sure if its iui or ivf) and few months later while preparing for her next treatment she got pregnant (just after been told she never will be able to conceive natuaraly).

Its her 35 th Birthday today and her little one is 8 months old.

Yeah still using the gel although it feels like a kick in the stomache and a constant pain and reminder it failed wanna try get back to normal is there a right way to bounce back.

Can anyone tell me why we still have to use gel?

Hi. when I had fail for sure even before test day, they still wanted me to test on my test day as they had to know for sure It has to be recorded on the hefa database every fail and every success cycle. So using the gel is still important just incase there is a slim chance if still could have worked. I know it sucks and is very hard. But you are almost there now. Hang in there. Xx

Just seen this message from you after I replied to the one about testing this week. Sorry to hear yr bleeding, but as others have said you should still do the test just in case. I miscarried a few weeks ago so I know how you feel. It's really tough. I do feel stronger now but still think about it and analyse it every day. Take care xx

So sorry to hear you missed carried I totally know how you are feeling I have been there more times than I want to remember.

I think the best way to recover is to get by 1 day at a time if it was meant to be it will be if not next time.

I hope the road for your recovery is a smooth one and you will succeed in your baby mission
