I'm onto my 3rd week of injections, feeling very emotional and feels like days are dragging by.

Currently penciled in for egg collection on 27th august (if all goes right on scan 13th august) it feels like ages away and for the past few days I have pretty much just cried. Can anybody relate or does anybody have any advice as it's hard to talk to family/friend as I don't feel they understand xxxx

Awww poor you Jillmooney I can't relate stage where you are at right now but I will be going through it end of this month, but I do really feel for you. I really feel up down up down even before the treatment also I feel very alone as my family know nothing even people ppl at work the only 3 people that know about this is myself,my partner, and I just recently informed my friend only because she said I looked down and I kind of broke down and told her.She didn't really know anything about IVF so I didn't really go into too much detail I told her threatened her not to tell anybody. Babe just remember you really are not alone much love and hugs. Oh and I'm sending you baby dust and lots of it. Xxxxxx belle xxxxxx

Aw are you doing long protocol? I only did short and it was done pretty quickly. Try to keep yourself busy keep smiling and know that it will all be worth it in the end! I see you are 22 I'm 23 and I know it's hard as non of my friends understand either!! Xxxx

Hi, I've been doing injections for over 2 weeks now too & started Gonal F today. I've felt more emotional too & had bad headaches. I think you have to stay positive, do things to make you happy (seeing friends, relaxing, taking your mind off things). I've also done Pilates and started acupuncture too. Also use the counsellor if it gets too much, it could really help to offload in the long term. Take care & good luck x

Jillmooney I agree it's good to keep busy. I'm on a long protocol too and go for my scan on 11 Aug. All being well I can start stims then. It does seem like ages and I've been tearful, forgetful, covered in spots and now getting headaches.

It's hard when people don't understand. My mum just seems disapproving I'm even going through with this and friends have no idea what it's all about.

I'm trying to sleep as much as I can and keep busy with work. I'm looking forward to seeing the counsellor on thurs and have been having reiki and getting acupuncture again when I start stims . I always exercise anyway, but I think even if you are not sporty try yoga or walking in fresh air to keep your mood up xx
