How often is your appointment for FET?

Hi ladies, I would like to know how often is your doctors/nurse appointment/visit from day 1 to beta test. Mine as below for #2 FET.

day 2: ultrasounds, blood test, and estrogen meds

Day 11: ultrasounds, blood test, meds adjustments because lining not thick enough

Day 14: ultrasounds, blood test, starting progesterone and 7 days later set for transfer date (day 6 embryo)

Day 20: transfer day, blood test for estrogen and progesterone, and more meds (next day got a call to increase progesterone)

Day 23: ultrasounds for inflammation and 2nd injection to strengthen the womb

Day 26: injection for the womb

Day 29: 4th injection for the womb

Day 34: 5th injection for the womb, plus blood test I requested due to negative home hcg test 😫 so I can start next transfer ASAP

Personally I think my doctors not really monitor my hormone levels that often or check what need to be done. What you ladies think? Comment me yours appointment below.

Thanks!

At my clinic after transfer you don’t have any other appointments unless you get a BFP, you literally don’t see them again

How about before transfer? How often? For blood test and etc

You have a very complicated protocol for FET. I never had before FET so I am not an expert but I had last month ERA test done with a mock cycle (mimicking FET). This month my clinic put me on birth control pills and next month I will start medications preparing for the transfer. I will start Progynova after my period and Synarel nasal spray. 2 weeks later need to do first ultrasound scan for checking my endometrium thickness. Will start with progesterone pessaries at indicated time by the clinic (very important) and exactly 5.5 days later I will have transfer done. I am not sure if any blood tests will be done on the day of my transfer for checking progesterone levels fox example.

Also on my mock cycle I had progesteron checked on the same day with ultrasound (after 2 weeks of medications) now doctor told me that no blood test needs to be done before transfer.

All clinics are different, trust them for sure they know what they do. I just wanted you to have and idea and compare what other clinics do. I am sorry that you have to book so many appointments and the plan for your FET sounds so complicated...

I wish you a very good luck 🤞♥️😊

Thanks hun! Baby dust to you. Ya, it’s does sound complicated and keeps wondering how others done theirs. I guess each clinic has its own protocol and different doctors different ways.

I have failed 2 FET and keep wondering what can I do to make a difference so it can stick. Finger crossed.

Good luck to you!

Thank you! Have you done ERA test?

Nope. Never done ERA before. Might do endo scratch or glue

I had a natural FET this time so very few appointments! I had a scan on Day 8 as I normally ovulate on Day 10 so they checked my lining and asked me to do OPKs and then come back on Day 10, I had to call if I had my surge before. Went back on Day 10 and I hadn’t ovulated but my lining was where they wanted it so I had a trigger and then went in for transfer on Day 17. I had my progesterone tested at my request and a call yesterday to confirm the results. No more appointments!

When I’ve had a medicated cycle I’ve had loads more scans as I struggle with my lining but they’ve all then been cancelled. Wishing you lots of luck x

I see. I never had any fresh transfer so not sure how. Only used frozen transfer.

Wish you all the best baby dust!

This is a frozen transfer but a natural one, so no medication. It’s not a fresh transfer. It’s much gentler on your body but isn’t an option for everyone. Lots of luck xx
