Broken- 2nd failed IVF

I had a failed ivf in Feb with no eggs collected. Then got pregnant naturally the following month but unfortunately lost it at 9 week. Today had egg collection my scan showed 8 follicles but one egg was retrieved which turned out to be immature. I'm just so heart broken and don't know what to do...has anyone got any advice? I can't think straight....I've always just wanted a baby

I'm so sorry you are having such a terribly difficult time. Did they change your protocols before between your first and second round? Sounds to me like your body isnt enjoying the drugs your are on.

I HATE when people say this but the fact you got pregnant naturally is a good sign, and shows your body knows what to do, it makes me wonder if a different protocol would be a good thing - definitely something to bring up with your consultant during your follow up appointment

Dont give up yet - your chances are high since you have managed to get pregnant before

Thank you for replying. I went from gonal f 375 on my first to menopur at 450 to my second. I don't know if I want a follow up as my consultants weren't happy about me doing another round and suggested I should do donor but for a lot of reasons I can't do donor. He compared me to an empty atm with nothing left. My last amh was 8.1.

Did they change protocol though? I went from long to short and it completely changed the number of eggs I got xx

No they didn't.. I was on short protocol for both ivfs xx

If you do go back maybe ask about changing, it really can much a huge difference x
