Sgpt- nomal, fibrscan kpa 5.0, us-normal, plattlate- normal. no biopsoy done. My hepatologist says, i have nash. (symptom- fatige, poor eating, wieght loss gradually). according the test result, how the doc say- "Nash".

I noticed, Many patient of this group reverse or stop progression by lifestyle changes. it's very inspiring. but, honorable admin mentioned a post "lean nash" is higher progression risk. As a thin person, if i have nash, any opinion to halt progression would be appreciated.

I would say without biopsy (which is risky fo health) you cannot be 100% it is something with your liver. But if your hepatologist claims this maybe in fact is NASH.

Please talk to your doctor if there are any other underlying issues causing liver issue, as it cannot be directly diagnosed as NASH. Usually doctors performs antibody tests, HCV etc., to rule out multiple other underlying issues first before concluding it as NASH.
