Hi Blue

Dr Google will scare you to death and give you a lot of conflicting information. You might start here. There is a lot of information so if you want a short little cookbook answer it isn't here because the problem isn't simple but we try to give you the information you need to understand what you are dealing with. Each of us has a different path so there is no single solution but this can help you chart a path for your personal battle with NAFLD and NASH

Thank you. Yes, I’ve found a lot of various info. The one thing that seemed common is exercise. I joined the gym today, especially for the pool.

Yes, exercise if fundamental to all strategies, but diet is the most important tool

That’s my next move, I used to swim 🏊🏽‍♀️ at least twice weekly. I have started to walk Elvis again, short distances at present. Also started to do a little in the garden. I found the main thing about this problem affected me mainly was tiredness and loss of muscle power 😬. 💕

Dont know if you have nafl or afl if you have afl give up alcohol,if its nafl then its about loseing weight as thats seen as the best thing for it.Diet is also got to be cleaned up no white bread, white rice, potatoes and now cereals apart from oats.eat lots of veg and put olive oil on your foods.also drink 4 cups of black coffee a day.Keep sugar to a minimum its in everything also eat oily fish, eat walnuts and just study foods that are good for the liver.plenty online, take care and good luck.

Extra virgin olive oil is good for the liver and coffee has amazing benefits to liver health it's all online that's where I got my information as I had never heard of nafld when I got told I had it there's many sites that tell you what to eat and what to avoid take care

Is there a difference between nafl and afl?

I mean besides from how the fat actually got in the liver, is it the same thing? Fatty liver?

I too am at the beginning of my NALD. Having spent well over 12 months of various liver scans ultrasounds and blood tests, to eventually receiving a letter of confirmation September 2019.

I am now enjoying my new culinary experiences with a variety of foods, which are really yummy 😋.

By the way blue love the 🐶 dog, mines a beagle (Elvis).
