I should report that I also have atrial fibrillation and heart failure , so perhaps some of the symptoms could also apply to that as well, I would also tell you that I have had little or no support from my gp practice, I am very disappointed , when diagnosed with Naldo, was just told there is no treatment and just to watch my diet and lose weight, that was at least four years ago, although I ask about it on my rare g p visits this year I saw a locum who reluctantly agreed to send me for my second scan,. I never had a consultation about the report, a receptionist who is untrained read the report over the phone neither of us understood most of it, so I said , when the doctor sees it I suppose if he needs to see me I will get a phone call. I heard nothing so have assumed it was okay. I still have the symptoms but have learned to live with it. Although not relevant more r less the same with the heart problems. I have never been referred to a consultant for either problem . Sorry it's so long I just felt the need to vent my feelings. ... Katyjane 75
Sad to think because we as patients can't or don't always verbalize our concerns to our PCP about our DX and TX plans they seem not interested in making sure we understand what their responsibility is going to be concerning our care ... But, more emphasis on what it takes for insurance reimbursement... All of my medical issues are of grave concerns to me... But, l can't get past a unstable htm DX x 30+yrs or DM x12 yrs... Hep C x 30 yrs disappeared w/ o tx only to get hep B DX approx 12 yrs ago asymptomatic and no tx deemed necessary... Monitor once/ annually... And wait to die? I guess and what shows up is a fatty liver.... Help! 😟😰🙏
Also fatigue (worse than the fatigue I’ve experienced from my hypothyroid condition) and itching
