First steps to get a diagnosis

Hi, my FD is 14 and I have been told that she has attachment disorder and learning disability but the symptoms and descriptions of FASD seem like they could have been written to describe her! Could anyone please tell me where I start with trying to get a diagnosis? I am going to ring the GP tomorrow and ask them but was wondering if anyone with experience can advise.

Many thanks,

Ask your GP to refer you to your local community paediatric team with a query of diagnosis of FASD. They will be able to assist you from there, but any problems, come back to here or email us direct at familysupport@fasdtrust.co.uk.
