Nerve stimulator

There is a nerve stimulator made by Xavant called the NMS 460. The website is xavant.com. My daughter has had synkinesis for 2.5 years and this device is working! I spoke to someone who said they had it for 10 years and it worked for them too. It takes several months to heal but only has to be used for about 5 minutes. Check out the website to find a provider in your area. Happy healing!

It's great that this is working for your daughter but it may not be suitable for everyone who has facial palsy. It is always best to seek a specialist referral and take advice. Facial Palsy UK can help you to find someone in your area.

I actually bought one because there is no one in our area that uses the device. I had researched it and called multiple providers and asked about the results. After hearing such great reviews I purchased one and she face timed (on the computer or phone) a provider who showed her how to use it properly. I got a credit card that has 0% interest for the first year. It was $2400.00 but it can be used for other injuries as well. She had tried so many other things that weren’t working....so I felt it was worth it and I am very pleased that her facial movement is being restored...If you look online at their website you can find providers all over. But, honestly, it’s amazing! There had been no change for a long time so it is definitely the stimpod that is making the difference. Best regards and happy healing!

Hey- that sounds amazing! I’m so very happy for your daughter! I had Bell’s Palsy 3 years ago and still suffer from partial palsy and of course, synkinesis. Can I ask you if there were any parts of her face that still suffered from paralysis or did she just have synkinesis? I guess I’m wondering what specifically this stimulator is improving.

Thanks so much!

Her eye and smile were frozen and it effected other facial expressions, as well. She is away at school now so I cannot ask her........ the stimpod has allowed her to heal and she was reluctant to try anything else. If you call the distributor they are very helpful and will assist you in finding someone to answer your questions. Best of f luck....

I am new at this and just saw the information on how this works. I will review the rules and regulations later when I have time. I hope that my comments are within the correct procedures. My daughter had quite a road to healing and I just was trying to help. I understand the need to be careful and will take your comments to heart. Thanks for caring.

It's OK. We don't usually get involved, but as there are over 50 different causes of facial palsy it's important to be careful and there is no "one size fits all" approach.

It is still excellent news that your daughter is getting better.

How has this helps your daughter? Who performs the procedure-PT or Doctor? What exactly is healing? This sounds very promising. :)

I would look on the Xavant website to see who is in your area.....the providers have varying qualifications. It is simple to use but you need someone to teach you how correctly....

Yeah, I’ve already been to the website and checked it out. I guess I was hoping you could be a bit more specific as to how it’s helped your daughter.

Such good news for your daughter. Thanks for sharing. I would like to know how and what has improved for the person who had bp for ten years. I am in the same boat and am keen to explore. Can I get in touch with that person. Many thanks

I suggest getting in touch with the provider in Maryland....the results are impressive thus far...I am thrilled with my daughter’s progress in a very short time. Please explore it on the website and please understand...we did it all...yet, nothing worked. It was so frustrating....this is easy and worth exploring! I wish I could tell you more but the incredible movement she has made is impressive...just a recommendation to explore! I am sincere and wish you the best through this difficult process...there is something to help you continue to heal....it can happen..have faith and try natural ways to heal you that won’t harm you.....this stimpod is worth checking out! I am on fixed income and am still thankful for getting a 0% credit card and paying it off....it can be transferred to another 0% charge card again...I have a big family on low income....and honestly, this stimpod is amazing! I wish you happy healing and much peace, best regards, Colleen

Never mind, while we are not allowed to endorse or promote products am grateful that you have brought it to my attention. I have made further research and will discuss with my consultant later today. What I was more interested in was you mentioned that you spoke to someone you has experienced synkinesis for ten years and was using it. Maybe you can give me their details with their consent so that I can investigate more. I have been in touch with the manufacturer, but I still need to do further research.
