hello, I have 3 year old twins boys that have struggled with a consistent pooping practice?! They seem to get the hang and then we go away or something blocks them up and then they get constipated. One handles better than the other and is completely toilet trained. But still might not go everyday. However the other flatly refuses to use the toilet and has become impacted this week. We are on day 1 of disimpacting with pegicol but wondered what else we can do in the meantime to help? Would you recommend any supplements or perhaps buying a special potty just for him. I’m just looking for any advice even just how to talk to them about it. I think the main problem is not drinking enough water and getting distracted and not going when they feel the urge. They both eat a good diet and are non stop running around etc. sorry for rather convoluted post! I’m just feeling scared and lost xxx

Carry on with the disimpaction, add a stimulant to the regime to help things along and ensure that you keep them on a good maintenance dose afterwards.
