Dulcosoft or laxido?

My ASD daughter (Age 3 Yrs 10 months) has been stool withholding for around two years now. She is currently on laxido powder (2 sachets per day) after a recent disimpaction regime. We have been prescribed Pico Sulphate to use as and when needed. But this is far from being resolved.

I have noticed that she regularly gets quite a distended tummy and then can have days and days of diarrhoea - I am changing around 15 diarrhoea nappies a day. Reducing the laxido doesn't cure this and if I reduce too much, she somehow ends up compacted again anyway. I'm now wondering a couple of things:

1) Is this a diet thing? Possible Gluten. She HAS had a celiac blood test about a year and a half ago which was negative but maybe she has a sensitivity?

2) What is the difference between Dulcosoft and Laxido? A lady on an ASD (Austim) forum I am part of suggested I try that instead of laxido as it's a 'game changer'.

Very confused and pretty miserable! Thanks
