Just wondering if anyone's child been given a nasal spray to try stop bed wetting?

Desmopressin has been given on a prescription, not collected yet.

Interested to hear any advice?

My son has adhd and traits of autism. Asked on advice for a appt with Enuresis nurse and was very much brushed off.

Thanks

Hi Northerner. DesmoMelts work best for children. The nasal spray may give your son the feeling of wanting to blow his nose, and it may also have a funny taste to it - not great if he has sensory needs. DesmoMelts have exactly the same amount of Desmopressin as the nasal spray, they are just a little more child friendly.

Our Helpline will open at 10am if you want to chat more :)

Thank you.

I haven't given him it yet as trying to get some more advice from Continence nurse.

But your point about his sensory issues is right, he's a very fussy eater. Has issue with textures and tastes.

Thanks for your reply
