Hello, I have an 8 year old son and 7 year old daughter. They have both been dry at night previously with the odd accident but recently they seem to wet the bed most nights. Most of the time it is only a little bit and sometimes it is a lot. They don't tend to drink anything close to bedtime and I always tell them to go to the toilet before bed. They are both deep sleepers. I am more concerned about my son as he has been to the clinic when he was younger but with lifting and making sure he drank enough he stopped wetting. But it feels like we are back to where we were. He also has a residential trip next month so I am worried he will get teased if he wets the bed. I am not sure whether to go back to the doctor. I try and make both of them drink plenty during the day but I can't do anything whilst they are at school. Any advise gratefully received. Thanks.

It is very important to find out what is going on. Don't jump to conclusions, but one thing could be something going on that creating a lot of stress. Family discord, bullying, abuse (to include physical, emotional, or sexual). Some major dietary changes? Don't be shy about letting them know that you understand that they can't help it.
