Padding for bed wetting

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong....

I’m sure that if you’re epileptic you’re entitled to bed padding via NHS??? I’m having trouble getting this on prescription 🤕☹️

Hi there! You only get help with bed padding after you have done a fluid charge! Usually a GP surgery has a nurse who can advice with the fluid charge.

My son who is 43 with epilepsy, did wet the bed at night but was continent during the day. He was not entitled to get any help on the NHS. I now buy the pads from Aldi as these are under £4.00 for 8 pads.

The great thing is.... now that he wears a pad at night..... he is staying dry! Maybe the reassurance of having that protection .... has helped. Good luck and hope you get help. 😊
