story about me and my diagnoses with Epilepsy.

let me start by saying i am Imojen Marie Fry-Thomas i had my first seizure around about 8 years old i had full fits my mum was worried so i couldn't speak for a while and that was scary for me when i turned 9 years old i had an appointment to see if i'm epileptic my mum said if i'm not she will pay but if i was epileptic my mum did not pay a penny cause she was angry i was scared they tried putting me on tablets but i didn't wanna take them my mum tried forcing me she got teachers to try and convince me to take them i tried but i threw them back up one day my mum was brushing my hair and my hair started falling out and that scared my mum to bits and now i am 7 years old and i am living with my grandparents and i am in college doing well doing animal care level 1 and i haven't had a seizure in about 2 years almost and still takin medications to calm my seizures i am progressing each day hope you liked me doing this is my first time opening up to something like this and i am a horse rider x

Hi Imojen, just to wish you well after reading your story ,my Epilepsy is controlled with medication.Good luck in your animal care level I am sure you will get there.

Hi Imojen, good for you dear. You should be very proud of yourself 😀👍 I also started around that age was controlled but am not fully controlled now - I’m older 53🙃. Take care & good luck X SJ
