Seizure and Brain Tuberculoma

Dear all,

after a seizure I took my wife to hospital and they have diagnosed her with brain tuberculoma, and started anti-TB drugs along with anit-seizure medicine (Levetiracetam) after four month we did another MRI and compared with the initial one there was significant improvement interval but doctor further advise to take the medicine till 18 or 24 months, now its 6th month that my wife takes these medicines everyday, however doctor further advised to reduce the dose of levetiracetam from 500mg twice daily to 250mg in moring and 250mg at night, as we decrease the anit-seizure tablet does my wife feels very bad, she suffers from dizziness, restless leg, her leg does weak some time, and she feels that she is having seizure but that is not a seizure only dizziness, vertigo, spinning sensation. so what is your kind suggestion for her as she does not have epilepsy but brain tuberculoma which caused seizure. during this 6th months on medication she did not experience any full seizure, but instead dizziness, vertigo, weak legs, spasm.

Very Respectfully,

Samim Hameedi
